Xia Garcia is a new media artist based in Texas. Influenced by their fascination with early internet ideology and aesthetics, contemporary digital ontology, and personal experiences with intense nightmares, their work explores the amalgam of strange that the digital world encompasses. They engage with these themes by working across video, interaction, and installation, their work explores the amalgam of strange that the digital world encompasses.

Their work has been recently exhibited and screened at AURORA Dallas, The Eclectika, New Media Contemporary, and Greater Denton Arts Council, among others. They are to receive their BFA in New Media Art at the University of North Texas in spring 2026.
